Data Logger

A major improvement in robustness and ease of use, our logger system dispenses with the need to use a computer in the field. The logs, contained in memory cards, can be collected from several sensor systems and downloaded to a computer afterwards, allowing the advantage of multiple real-time signal recording. Signal data is combined with a GPS-derived absolute time data for each sensor, which enables the use of signal subtraction, leading to increased signal accuracy.

Our data logger allows the receipt and logging of signal data to memory card. Collecting the data from an accurate 24-bit resolution Delta Sigma ADC with a sampling rate of 1 kHz, it receives time and location parameters through a connected GPS. The system utilises a standard 128mb Multimedia Memory Card to store the data, which allows uninterrupted logging periods upwards of seven hours, with a time period that can be set through an internal timer.
